{"id":8066,"date":"2025-04-22T09:09:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-22T14:09:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fraternidadmedellin.org\/?post_type=eventos&#038;p=8066"},"modified":"2025-04-22T09:09:44","modified_gmt":"2025-04-22T14:09:44","slug":"apoyo-alimentario-en-las-universidades-para-evitar-la-desercion-otra-apuesta-de-la-fraternidad","status":"publish","type":"eventos","link":"https:\/\/fraternidadmedellin.org\/en\/eventos\/apoyo-alimentario-en-las-universidades-para-evitar-la-desercion-otra-apuesta-de-la-fraternidad\/","title":{"rendered":"Nutritional Support in Universities to Prevent Dropout: Another Commitment from Fraternidad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For many years, Fraternidad Medell\u00edn has been committed to addressing school dropout, working on multiple fronts to effectively prevent it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">In 1995, we launched a nutritional support program with the Universidad de Antioquia to ensure that students living in vulnerable conditions receive proper meals during their university day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, and with the guidance of nutritionists and experts, the program has evolved to provide each student with a meal or groceries that cover a significant portion of their daily caloric and nutritional needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Thanks to teamwork with U.P.B., I.T.M., Instituci\u00f3n Universitaria Pascual Bravo, Universidad Nacional, and Universidad de Antioquia\u2014along with financial support from Fraternidad Medell\u00edn\u2014we are currently serving approximately 425 students each semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative represents a shared responsibility and growing awareness around student retention and well-being.
