It is a project led by the Mi Sangre Foundation and Proantioquia, with the support of Fraternidad Medellín Foundation, Grupo Argos, and Comfama. Created in 2023, this school seeks young people from various subregions of Antioquia to support them, strengthen their skills, and promote youth participation in public, private, academic, social, and cultural matters. It fosters intersectoral dialogue and involves them in change initiatives aimed at building a more inclusive society aligned with youth policy.

The school’s training process, which lasts six months, includes three bootcamps in which, through nine in-person training modules, five virtual sessions, and four webinars, participants develop and strengthen skills in areas such as confidence, leadership vision, purpose, systems thinking, analysis of public challenges, and understanding of their environment, among others.

As a final project, participants develop a change initiative per subregion, which must be implemented the following year. From this process, impactful projects have emerged on topics such as mental health, healthy habits to improve well-being, participatory strategies to engage the population in community decision-making, and social inclusion.

The first cohort, composed of 30 young people, has completed the entire process, reaffirming their leadership capacities for social transformation. They have connected with other leaders in a network of mutual care, learning, and co-creation, while driving collaborative social change initiatives.

Soon, the launch of the second cohort will take place, which is expected to include young people from Bajo Cauca, Urabá, Valle de Aburrá, Eastern Antioquia, and Southwestern Antioquia.
