Quality of Education

Improving the quality of education is the path we have chosen to contribute to the dignity and opportunities of young people in rural areas. In the regions of Eastern Antioquia, Southwestern Antioquia, and Urabá, we have funded the reconstruction of public educational infrastructure, mainly in rural areas, and in these renewed spaces we have begun to finance the implementation of projects aimed at improving the quality of education.

With this strategy, in 2024 we achieved:

117 educational sites that have been rebuilt or improved, now featuring new and renovated facilities, adequate school cafeterias, access to drinking water, furniture, and new equipment. Over 15 years of work to dignify educational spaces, we have intervened in 95,000 square meters and 680 classrooms. These improvements benefit 27,000 children and young people in quality education processes.

4 educational parks in Vigía del Fuerte, Titiribí, Tarso, and Támesis, attended by an average of 5,200 people each month who enjoy activities related to culture, education, social integration, and recreation.

5 escenarios deportivos 5 sports facilities for athletics, baseball, table tennis, football, and other sports. These spaces are enjoyed by approximately 6,000 people per month on average.
