My Money, My Future: Smart Finances for Youth

2025 began with strong partnerships for Fraternidad Medellín. One of the most exciting is with the Visa Foundation, an organization committed from the start to fostering inclusive economies where individuals, businesses, and communities can thrive.

Now, in Antioquia, 300 students in grades 9, 10, and 11, along with 70 families and 30 teachers in the municipalities of El Carmen de Viboral and San Vicente, will benefit from the program "My Money, My Future"which aims to strengthen financial education. It comes to enhance the program goal is to strengthen financial education and support the ongoing “Building the Future”, which provides socio-occupational guidance to this population.

The program, led by Fundación Visa and operated by PAN Corporación Social, consists of five practical sessions, a financial education guide, and training for teachers and families. It aims to promote saving habits, economic planning, and responsible financial decision-making. Additionally, it seeks to involve the educational community and generate a sustainable impact on participants’ financial education.

Thanks to our relationships with other foundations, we continue to build alliances that support educational initiatives in the schools where Fraternidad is present, thereby strengthening our programs aimed at improving the quality of education.
