Since 2023, Fraternidad Medellín has been walking hand in hand with Compartamos con Colombia with a deep and strategic purpose: to strengthen the social organizations we support so that their impact is sustainable, measurable, and lasting over time.
This path has taken shape through the 360 Strengthening Program (PF360), a comprehensive initiative grounded in the understanding that social impact is built not only on vocation and commitment, but also on strong, well-governed organizations with a clear strategic direction, sound finances, and strengthened internal capacities.
The program does not offer standardized solutions. On the contrary, it begins with a deep understanding of each organization—its history, challenges, and potential. Through diagnostics, co-creation spaces, and tailored strengthening plans, Compartamos con Colombia has supported 10 partner organizations of Fraternidad Medellín across strategic, operational, financial, and legal dimensions.
This process has enabled cultural, social, educational, and community-based organizations to move from day-to-day action to conscious planning, from isolated effort to purpose-driven management, and from intuition to decision-making based on information and evidence.
The progress is tangible. Participating organizations have been able to define or update their strategic direction, organize their internal processes, strengthen their corporate governance, and now have financial tools that allow them to anticipate, project, and make decisions with greater clarity.
In addition, the support has facilitated the implementation of impact measurement models, knowledge management systems, and transparency and business ethics programs—key elements for building trust, attracting partners, and ensuring institutional continuity.
A Knowledge Network in Service of the Social Sector
One of the distinctive values of PF360 has been the articulation of a network of high-level strategic, financial, and legal firms that have placed their expertise at the service of the social sector. Consulting, legal, and financial firms have accompanied these processes with technical rigor and a deep sense of social commitment, demonstrating that cross-sector collaboration is both possible and necessary.
For Fraternidad Medellín, this joint work with Compartamos con Colombia reaffirms a deep conviction: when we strengthen those who transform realities, we multiply impact and sow the seeds of the future. Continuing to support these processes means continuing to invest in a stronger, more articulated social ecosystem—one capable of responding to the challenges of our territory.
Because helping also means strengthening. And strengthening means believing in the long term.
