That is why we are proud to be part of Uventures, an initiative that represents hope, vision for the future, and commitment to Antioquia.

Uventures is a pioneering fund born from the collaboration between Universidad EAFIT, Universidad EIA, and Fundación Fraternidad Medellín, with the purpose of supporting students, alumni, professors, and researchers in the early stages of their entrepreneurial projects.

This program focuses on something essential: investing at the origin of ideas—at that moment when dreams are just beginning to take shape and need trust, guidance, and opportunities to grow. Through an incubation process that combines training, mentorship, connections, and financial support, Uventures seeks to promote initiatives with social and economic impact in the region.

Para Fraternidad Medellín, esta alianza tiene un significado profundo. Durante décadas hemos trabajado por generar condiciones de equidad y oportunidades, convencidos de que el desarrollo de Antioquia depende del talento de su gente. Uventures materializa ese propósito desde una perspectiva nueva: apoyar a los emprendedores cuando más lo necesitan, en esa etapa temprana en la que las ideas aún son frágiles pero están llenas de potencial.  

We believe in entrepreneurs because we know that behind every project there is a story of effort, creativity, and courage. We understand that many of them aim not only to build a business, but also to provide solutions to major societal challenges such as sustainability, inclusion, education, healthcare, and technological transformation. 

Además, iniciativas como Uventures fortalecen el ecosistema de innovación de Antioquia y contribuyen a consolidar la región como un referente en emprendimiento universitario. Cuando la academia, las fundaciones y los jóvenes trabajan juntos, se generan las condiciones para que surjan empresas que impacten positivamente la economía, generen empleo y promuevan nuevas formas de progreso. 

At Fraternidad Medellín, we are proud to work hand in hand with EAFIT and EIA on this project. This partnership demonstrates that when efforts are combined and trust is placed in young talent, it is possible to build real and sustainable opportunities.
