At Fundación Fraternidad Medellín, we believe that true solidarity is demonstrated in the most difficult moments. That is why we have joined efforts with Corporación Presentes, an organization that has consistently responded with speed, transparency, and a deep sense of humanity in the face of critical situations affecting communities. 

Presentes has become a trusted ally when urgency demands action. Its ability to mobilize goodwill, resources, and hope has made it possible to support families facing social and humanitarian emergencies—delivering not only material aid, but also a powerful message of collective support: you are not alone. 

One of the most recent examples of this joint work was the fundraising campaign to support communities in San Juan de Urabá and Necoclí, two regions heavily impacted by heavy rains. Flooding and damage to homes, crops, and roads exposed the vulnerability of thousands of people whose daily lives were suddenly disrupted. In response, Corporación Presentes activated its network of partners and called on citizens, the private sector, and social organizations to act in a timely manner. 

From Fundación Fraternidad Medellín, we supported this initiative with a contribution of 100 million pesos to assist people in emergency situations. This donation was used to deliver food kits for households averaging 3–4 people, providing adequate caloric and nutritional intake. Each kit was designed to last approximately 20 days. In total, 847 kits were distributed to the same number of families. 

 We are convinced that collaborative work multiplies impact, and we trust in the responsible and transparent management that Presentes applies to the resources it raises—a trust built through its track record, its rigor in execution, and its ongoing commitment to communities. 

Thanks to these campaigns, many families have received food, essential supplies, support, and assistance to begin recovery processes. Beyond immediate aid, what is truly strengthened is the social fabric: the ability of communities to rise, rebuild, and look toward the future with renewed hope. 

Emergencies remind us that solidarity cannot be occasional or distant. It requires organizations prepared to act with sensitivity, efficiency, and a long-term vision. Corporación Presentes has proven to be one of those organizations that turns concern into action and intention into tangible results.
