Fraternidad connects with the world.

Because we love learning, staying up to date, enriching our perspective on philanthropy, and meeting new people and institutions that, like us, wake up every day to build a better world. In September and October, we took part in several meetings that strengthened us as an organization:

  • From September 9 to 12 in Oaxaca, Mexico, we attended the annual Latimpacto meeting, a network of which we are associate members. This gathering brings together leaders from the social and environmental impact ecosystem worldwide, with a special focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. The most important topics of the meeting included innovative impact finance, impact measurement and management, diversity, equity and inclusion, bioeconomy and climate change, and the use of technology to generate impact. More than 650 people attended the event.
  • September 25 and 26: Tikso, an annual event organized by the Makaia Corporation. A space for dialogue, learning, and collective construction around social impact, international cooperation, and technology for social change. The event was attended by 350 people seeking to gain new knowledge, explore trends in philanthropy, and build connections.
  • October 1 and 2: First Annual Forum of AFE (Association of Family and Corporate Foundations), of which we are members. The event was attended by 350 participants from member foundations, the public sector, academia, and representatives from other countries around the world. It was a space to reconnect with friends, engage with current partners, and build new connections for future alliances.
